Is Hijab considered as a problem in India?

Recently, eight Muslim students were barred from wearing hijab for several weeks at a government college in Udupi district in the Indian state of Karnataka, citing anti-college uniforms. As a result, protests spread to almost all major cities in India, including Calcutta. It has already taken on an international dimension. Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani Nobel laureate who won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize, has called on the Indian government to stop trying to corner Muslim women. It is seen that he is getting off his scooter on the college campus wearing a loose-fitting black burqa with a niqab and walking towards his class. Behind him, a group of young men in purple robes are marching towards him chanting 'Joy Sriram'. Then the girl raised her left hand and shouted at them and repeatedly shouted 'Allahu Akbar'. Later the college authorities came and took him inside. The scene shook the whole world. Undoubtedly, 'Muskan' is now a symbol of courage. Like Malala of Pakistan, she is expected to win the Nobel this year. Meanwhile, India's 'Jamyate Olamaye Hind' has announced a prize of Rs 5 lakh for him. We also congratulate him and offer our sincere prayers for him. Earlier, at the end of December 2019, the police did not allow Rabia Abdur Rahim, who had the highest marks in Masters in Mass Communication at Pondicherry University in India, to enter the convocation ceremony just because of her hijab. The chief guest was to receive his 'gold medal' from the President of the country. But when he was interrupted, he left the gold medal and returned home. This created a heated debate across the country. Thus in India now the Muslim citizens of that country are being persecuted step by step with the help of the state. Various caste discrimination is also going on in educational institutions. However, Articles 14 and 25 of the Indian Constitution guarantee the fundamental religious rights of all, irrespective of religion or caste. And the Indian nation-state has developed in the spirit of respecting this diversity. There Hindus wear tilak, Sikhs wear beards and turbans, Muslims wear hats and burqas. These have been going on for ages. What is happening now is just a ploy of extremist vote traders with political names. If we compare Jessinder, the female Prime Minister of New Zealand, with the current Hindutva Modi government in India, we can see that she was quick to speak out on behalf of Muslims when two Muslim mosques were attacked on March 15, 2019 in Christchurch. Called an emergency session of parliament. He came to the parliament wearing a black dress. A Muslim scholar wearing a jubba and a hat sat next to him and started the sitting of the parliament by reciting the Quran. While delivering the speech, he started his speech as Assalamu ‘alaykum. He then called the day of the attack the "darkest day" for the Muslim community. He assured the speedy trial of the terrorists and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families. He directed all the radios and televisions of the country to broadcast Quran recitation and Azan regularly. Such sympathy of the ruling government towards the Muslim minority is rare in this age. As against 25 crore Muslims in India, the number of Muslims in New Zealand as of 2016 is only 48 thousand. Which is 1.1 percent of the total population of the country. As of 2019, the Muslim population in India is 14.2 percent. Hijab is the adornment of women. This is his shield. It is a part of every woman's nature, irrespective of religion or caste. Islam has instructed to observe proper veil for both men and women (Noor 24 / 30-31). In particular, women have been instructed to cover their whole body by wearing loose-fitting big sheets (Ahzab 33/59). Who doesn't know that the more valuable it is, the more it has to be kept secret. Gems, pearls, gold and silver are found everywhere? Does anyone want to buy peeled banana and eat it? Deer and goat are both animals. But why do deer hide in the forest? Because in his navel is the most valuable ‘musk’ in the world. Which is called ‘Mriganavi’. From the womb of women came out the best creations of the world, prophets, messengers, social leaders, statesmen and reformers of the age. Those are the equivalent of Mriganavi in the world. The grass of the field is hard and rough. But if they are pressed, they are soft and fluffy. The feeling of which thrills people. The virtuous woman also awakens the shiver of hope in the despairing heart. The wheels have both tire-tubes, but the tires are on the outside and the tubes are on the inside. If someone wants to put the tube outside and the tire inside, the car will become obsolete. In the same way, if women and men are not kept in the right place, the society will be destroyed. The most valuable part of human society is the female race. Men are their guardians (Nisa 4/34). Husband, son, brother and father are his four main defenses. Men are also responsible for the overall security of women. They must fulfill that responsibility. Creatively, men and women have different physical and mental structures. To deny this difference is to deny the bitterness of Chaitra and the pelvis of spring. God has made women attractive. So modest dress is essential for her. Just as the owner of a house goes out and closes the doors and windows, so a woman who goes out of the house hides her physical beauty behind a veil and a loose burqa. The Prophet (sm) said, 'Women are the people of the veil. Whenever he goes out, Satan looks up at him '(Tirmidhi H / 1173; Mishkat H / 3109). Allah says that women should not move in such a way that their hidden beauty is revealed '(Noor 24/31). In the hadith, men and women looking at each other, voices of each other, touch of hands, thoughts, going for illegal purposes are all called 'Jena'. Which is implemented through adultery (Buh Muh Mishkat H / 6). Therefore, it is the duty of the society and the state to protect the dignity and honor of women at all costs and to keep the society free from filth. We urge the governments of India and Bangladesh to fulfill their responsibilities in this regard. May Allah help us - Amen! (S.S.).
