What is the aqeedah(Faith) of Shia?

Question: The majority of the people, including the current government of Iran, belong to which party is Shia. What is their aqeedah? Can they be called Muslims?

Answer: The majority of the people of Iran, including the current ruling group, believe in the Twelve Imams. Below are some of their basic aqeedahs narrated from their books.

(1) Their Imams have knowledge of all the unseen past and future (Kulaini, Al-Kafi, Hujjah Chapter 1/203).

(2) It is obligatory to know and accept the Imams. The one who denies the Imams is a disbeliever. They should be obeyed like the obedience of the Prophet (Al-Kafi 1/110). In addition, the Imams are as infallible as the prophets and they have the power to declare anything halal or haram (pp. 8, 221, 26). Angels come and go to them (Ai, 135).

(3) Except for a few Sahabis including Ali (R), all the Sahabis including the first three caliphs became Kafir after the death of the Prophet (sm) (6, 7/245).

(4) The Qur'an that Gabriel brought contained 16 thousand verses (6, 2/634).

(5) They have 'Mushafe Fatemi', Which is three times larger than the Qur'an and does not contain a single letter of the Qur'an (Ai, 1/239).

(6) Sunnis are hellish, they are infidels, unclean, it is not permissible to perform their janaza salat, it is not permissible to eat their slaughtered animals, they are children of adultery, they are monkeys and pigs, it is obligatory to kill them (Biharul Anwar 6 / 36-380, Al-Kafi) 1/239, 7/135)

(7) It is obligatory to visit the tombs of imams and saints. The disbeliever who abandons the pilgrimage (Kitabu Kamaliya Ziyarah 163 p.).

(8) Visiting the grave of Husain (R) is better than performing Hajj and Umrah twenty times (Furul Kafi 1/324). (9) Imam Mahdi will rule the world according to the rule of the family of Dawood (AS) (Al-Kafi 1/396) (10) , No angel or prophet close to Allah has reached that status' (Al-Hukumatul Islamiyah 65 p.). Besides, speaking in favor of his monotheistic Kufr philosophy, he said, "Allah has special conditions with us." He is us and we are him '(Sharhu Du'ais Sahar 103 p.) Etc. Ahl as-Sunnah scholars agree that those who hold the above aqeedah are infidels.

.

For example-

(1) Imam Malik (93-169 AH) said that the person who insults Sahaba Keram has no part in Islam (Abu Bakr Khallal, As-Sunnah 3/493)

(2) Imam Shafi'i (150-204 AH) said (Abu Hatem Razi, Adabush Shafi'i: 144 p.)

(3) Imam Ahmad bin Humble (184-241 AH) said that those who insulted Abu Bakr, Omar, Ayesha (R) and other Sahabis. I don't think they are on Islam (Abu Bakr Khallal, As-Sunnah 3/493)

(4) Imam Bukhari (194-256 AH) said, I do not care to perform salat behind Jahmi and Rafizi or Jews and Nazarenes. They cannot be greeted, their patients cannot be served, they cannot be married, their janazah cannot be attended and their slaughtered animals cannot be eaten (Khalku Af'alil Ibad 125 p.).

(5) The 5th century Spanish mujaddid Imam Ibn Hazm Andalusi (364-456 AH) said that the Rafidis who claim to change the Qur'an are not Muslims. In terms of falsehood and disbelief, they have replaced the Jews and the Nazarenes (Kitabul Fishal 2/213).

(6) Ibn Taymiyyah (61-628 AH) said that those who think that some verses in the Qur'an are lacking or hidden ... there is no difference of opinion regarding their disbelief. Those who think that after the death of the Prophet (sm) all the Sahabis except a few have become apostates ... There is no doubt in their disbelief. On the contrary, those who doubt their disbelief are also disbelievers (Ash-Charemul Maslool 56 p.

(7) Zahabi (63-648 AH) said that those who condemn and abuse the Sahabis, they leave the religion and are rejected from the Muslim community (Kitabul Kabayer 238 p.).

(8) Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab (1115-1206 AH) said that the person who believes that all of the Sahabis are 'Fasiq' and most of them are 'Apostates', is a disbeliever in Allah and His Messenger (Allah be pleased with him). P.).

(9) Abdul Aziz Dehlavi (1159-1239 AH) said, I read the books of Ishna 'Ashariyas and became convinced that they have no part in Islam and their kufr is certain (Mukhtasarut Tuhfah Ishna' Ashariya 300 p.).

(10) Albani (1333-1420 AH) said, the Qur'an, Khomeini's statements are blatant blasphemy and blatant shirk because he opposes the ummah in Sunnah and consensus. Anyone who narrates them or part of them with faith is a polytheist and a disbeliever. Although he observes Shi'am, performs salat and thinks that he is a Muslim '
